The Manta Ray or Manta birostris is a 5.2 metre long Ray found in the Atlantic Ocean, North Carolina,Brazil, Madeira and West Africa. Also known as the Devil Ray this is the largest and most impressive of the Rays. This creature has huge pectoral fins, short tail and a very wide head. This beautiful creature feeds on planktonic creatures filtered through their gills.
